Wardrobe

Your wardrobe speaks volumes about you. Your clothes, shoes, handbags, accessories, all come together to create your wardrobe.

So how can you make it a well- balanced one?

To begin with, your wardrobe should have pieces that complement your body shape. Your clothes should be designed in such a way that they highlight your strengths and camouflage your weaknesses.

Same goes for choosing your accessories. A woman with a round face should not wear hoops, as they will further reinforce the roundness of her face. She should in fact wear long earrings that counter the roundness and give her a sleek look.

The same rule applies to for sunglasses. One should always keep in mind the shape of the face while choosing a pair of sunglasses; else the best pair will also not look good.

The size of the bag you use should also be in proportion your body. A petite woman for instance would get consumed if she carried an oversized tote, while a tall and broad shouldered woman would not look good carrying a very small bag.

A few staples are a must in your wardrobe. A white shirt, a pair of jeans, black trousers, black skirt, beige pants, tan shoes, a black cocktail dress, an elegant sari are pieces that can take you through many occasions with ease. You can pair your white shirt with your denims, black pants, and a scarf or in many other ways depending on the occasion or place you’re going to.

Your wardrobe also speaks volumes about your personal style.

If you’re a ‘yin’ personality, then you will lean towards softer fabrics, light colors, floral prints etc. If on the other hand, you’re a ‘yang’ personality, you will prefer straight cuts, firm fabrics and geometric patterns.

Your wardrobe should also consist of a few ultra-stylish and designer pieces for special occasions.

Today, we are all at home, and not sure when we can venture out freely again. In such times, work from home has become a norm for many.

If you’re one of them, then you need simple, fuss free yet professional looking attire for your online interactions. You can opt for simple shirts in white, blue, pink or light yellow. You can throw on a shrug or a scarf around your neck for a little more professional look.

Simple dresses or kuris too can be an option especially in these hot summer days.

So go ahead and plan your dream wardrobe that doesn’t burn a hole in your pocket. Also please make sure you discard pieces that you have not worn for ages. An underprivileged person may need it more. Ciao!!
